Police Chief Steve Norman

Mission
It is the mission of the Henryetta Police Department to provide an atmosphere which allows the citizens and visitors of the City of Henryetta to go about their daily business relatively free of fear of harm to themselves and their property, with education when possible and enforcement when necessary.

Goals
The primary goal of the Police Department is to utilize new and innovative methods and technology to fight crime and improve domestic security.

E911 Center
The Henryetta Police Department also operates the southern Okmulgee County E911 center. The E911 center is equipped with the latest technology available.

Holding Facility
The Police Department has a 12-hour holding facility used to house municipal prisoners. The capacity of our holding facility is 5.

Animal Control
The police department also manages the Animal Control Officer (ACO). This position is responsible for the catching, trapping and care of loose or vicious animals. The ACO is on duty from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and can be requested after hours if required.
